Selim R. Krim is ISCP Governor for the United States. ISCP Governors act as representatives for different countries worldwide to encourage local participation and contribute to the ISCP’s educational programmes.
Selim R. Krim received his medical degree from the Medical University of Algiers, Algeria. He trained in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, McKeesport Hospital in Pennsylvania. He completed his cardiovascular disease fellowship at Ochsner Clinic and received adult echocardiography (level III training) and advanced heart failure training at the Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center/University of Texas Medical Branch.
Dr. Krim is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Queensland/Ochsner Clinical School and currently serves as the Medical Director of the Heart Transplant program and Program Director of the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology program.
